Give some new animations and let us punch, even if it takes 5 or 6 to KO someone. The class needs to be a little more entertaining. Yesterday at East Woods a rambo stabbed one of our two color bearers and maybe could have picked up the flag if the mechanic was instantaneousbut it was a fluke thing, he was surrounded by eight of us or more, and was definitely not a capture. I'm definitely not suggesting at all that there be a desertion timer but it makes more sense. The possibility for trolling it is too great when 50 or 75 players are depending on you. That way you at least don't live and die based off whoever's carrying the flag.
I believe the flag should just be a significant bonus to spawning on a line, not the end-all factor. You're going to have people shoot your flag bearer and take it and run off with it and even give it to the enemy. You're gonna have a lot of trolling when it comes to this. Like someone mentioned, enemy should carry it differently, perhaps torn from the staff. It will end up with duplicate flags being spawned. Perhaps have a place you can take captured colors to give that status. My twin and I decided to lead the charge against those yanks that are attacking our position in the Hagerstown Turnpike.I am a part of the 1st Texas Infantry. Also I don't like the team morale system as it is but, as an aside to the final score, it'd be a cool stat to show captured colors. In any game with spawns the respawn location and frequency sets how much of a presence you can have on the map. The entire game revolves around these flag bearer spawns, guys. People who do a less than great job at flag bearer already stand out. The actions of any individual shouldn't punish the team too much.
